To play the offline multiplayer, you would have to have to have a credit card or a play station card in put onto your ps3, then with the money you have, you would buy the burn out paradise "party. Look at gt5, it has split-screen and looks quite nice. i guess i'll just have to stick to burnout 3 for local multiplayer. fsgamer aka fs7 cheap tactics for the win.
There isn't a split screen multiplayer in burnout paradise at all. it's a shame really. racing split screen against friends was one of the most fun experiences i had on my ps2..
