Burnout paradise: the ultimate box. i've been using a wired xbox controller with no problems. if you're trying to use something like a ps3 controller, i saw a suggestion somewhere else to delete the config.ini file and restart the game with only the xbox controller plugged in (which means resetting any video settings you might have made. Locate the save folder for burnout paradise (i can't remember the exact path, it's in the readme file in the main burnout directory,) and in that save folder there is a file called "defaults" and it lists a ton of controllers that are compatible.. Burnout paradise may crash on start-up if you have screen recording software running, such as xsplit. this occurs because the game sees the software as a webcam. the easiest way to rectify this issue is: close the screen recording software, load burnout paradise, alt + tab ↹ out, then run the screen recording software..
