Google Maps will now show you if your destination has wheelchair accessibility
Google Maps will now show you if your destination has wheelchair accessibility
With the new feature, you will be able to find the information about wheelchair accessibility in the same amenities section that shows the hours of operations for a certain location. While the feature is now live on Google Maps, the information might not cover all locations yet since Google relies on Local Guides who exchange information for space on Google Drive.
Besides those in wheelchairs, the information will help parents with strollers, and those who rely on a cane to walk.
